sqlloader how to load special numeric format

Hi newsgroup,
i have an column defined as number(38,10).
Now i have loadfiles where the data is formed as following
+2.0000E+001
When i use as column spec. float external, the loader says wrong format.
How can i read this with the loader ?
Please give me a hint.
