Hello,

[Quoted] This is a question about some old tools. I hope somebody has experienced the same difficulties and is able to reproduce them. We are trying to move over Forms 3.0 and Reportwriter reports to the Developer-platform. Forms works fine, but with the reports I have a problem. The reports are stored in Reportwriter 1.0-tables, and Developer needs REX-files from the Reportwriter 1.1-tables to convert them to Reports 2.5/3.0/6.0. To migrate Reportwriter 1.0 tot 1.1 you have to use the utility MOVEREP.

I have a problem with moving reports from the Reportwriter 1.0 tables to the Reportwriter 1.1 tables. (FR-tables to SRW-tables). I have the FR-tables and the SRW-tables in the same scheme and when I use the utility MOVEREP to move the report-definitions then the following erros occurs:

SRW-2300 Unanticipated Oracle-error occured converting FR_REPORT table ORA-01858 a non numeric charachter was found where a numeric was expected.

Is there a way to bypass this error, or does somebody know how to find out which report is causing the error?

Thanks in advance,
