Oracle JDeveloper 9i with RedHat Linux 7.0

I don't think that it is really the solution to suggest using S.u.S.E. instead of RedHat. I am using SuSE on most machines, but some software and some hardware is supposed to run with RedHat, so I am using that as well. It's pretty much the same anyway. I know that Oracle is quite critical in terms of low level functionality, if you are talking about the database itself. 9i won't run on kernel 2.2, it required 2.4.
