Robustness of JDeveloper

Is anyone out there using JDeveloper for production systems, and if so, how do you rate it? Is the user interface similar to Forms (which we don't like, finding the "next block/previous block" navigation counterintuitive)? Does it make sense to go down the JDeveloper road rather than learning Forms?
