Install 9iAS after Developer 6i web deployment

Does anybody has experience with installing 9iAS on PC with Dev 6i (W2K)? Is it possible to avoid conflicts ?
Documentation to the software I'm going to install does not support installation 9iAS on computer where Dev 6i was installed even if you uninstall 6i. I'm trying to avoid formatting the disk...
