All versions of forms have a runtime environment similar to what you have. They can all be run in Client-Server mode.

But you will find the development environment totally different. So invest in a good book and expect to be horribly frustrated for a short amount of time until you figure it out. My suggestion. Don't start off building a form. Start up exploring classes and inheritance. Then build some default objects and inherit them into your project. It will save hundreds of hours and greatly improve the marketability of your resume.
