HELP: 9iAS Portal Install

[Quoted] [Quoted] I am trying to install 9iAS on NT. I have tried using the Oracle by example [Quoted] and the Install guide. Both to no avail. I have tried both 1.0.2.2.1 and [Quoted] 1.0.2.2.2 (or what ever) . I get 2 errors. The machine I am installing on [Quoted] is clean (no Oracle products installed. My origin database 9iDB is on a [Quoted] [Quoted] Linux server and is running fine with all init done. I am able to connect to it remotely and with the extproc as required.

[Quoted] Next when it gets to the Oracle Portal 3.0 Configuration Assistant Step 2 it will not connect to the database! It does not even act like it is trying [Quoted] [Quoted] to connect. (It would be great if the java consoles allowed copy and paste) [Quoted] It gives an error dialog that states it could not connect to the specified [Quoted] [Quoted] database telling you to check the sys password and the connection string (host:port:sid) all of which are correct.
