I assume you tried to read it?
And of course many of it is reference material, as the title usually lists.
I can work with it, and I'm sure many others can.
I'm also sure too many others don't even try, as they think that anything
that comes in more than 2 volumes is too much.
In this particular case, there is separate documentation for jdbc, and I'm
sure the correct syntax is dealt with.
And if you think the documentation is unreadable, why don't you (and other people who may think so) get in touch with Oracle to change the situation? Simply posting unspecified complaints, like in your question, in a newsgroup isn't going to change a damn thing.
