We are in the process of converting from Crystal Reports to Oracle Reports. The main problem we've had with Crystal is report throughput and none of the multi-threading solutions they've promised have solved our problems. Oracle Reports is very scalable, but it doesn't have all of the bells and whistles that some of the other reporting tools have, especially when it comes to graphs/charts. Supposedly, the 9i version will have be alot more robust. From a performance point of view, you'll be satisfied with the throughput. If you're an Oracle database shop, it's not a bad way to go.
