Looking at the support SuSE has for Oracle, I'd go for SuSE right away!
RH finally announced "verification" of Oracle 9i.
Don't use RH7.0 - there's some but with wronly linked libraries; if you
still have a choice, go for SuSE7.2, or RH6.2 (yes - RH7.0
predecessor!),
perhaps 7.1 (tho I have had numerous problems installing on RH71, and
finally reversed to 6.2 and "lo and behold!" - within a day!
