Which account to use for SYSDBA so DBA Studio doesn't make attributes read-only?

[Quoted] [Quoted] I'm using Oracle 8.1.6 and trying to use DBA Studio with the Enterprise Manager Server.
Two things:
- Although I have the Enterprise Manager service set to "Automatic" on Windows 2000 Advanced Server, it doesn't start. I have to manually start it. Anyone know how to fix this?
- I just installed Enterprise Manager and I want to use DBA Studio to do things like backups. However, it keeps complaining about default credentials not being set in E.M. First, I'm not sure which accounts to use for things like "node", etc. Then, when I set userid's for the database and default database, I can't get DBA studio to let me alter initialization params. It just says that the account doesn't have SYSDBA. Now I'm totally confused.
I've used sysman to log into Enterprise Manager, and have tried both system and sys as the credentials for the database entry. However, I can't seem to log onto either one using anything other than SYSOPER or NORMAL and both of those make DBA Studio bitch about not having SYSDBA. Other than using Oracle, what am I doing wrong?
Thanks,
Mark
