Installing Designer 6 Rel 3

Hi, all.
The installation notes with Designer 6i Rel 3 indicate that it requires as its Oracle server:
- Oracle 8i Server Rel 2 (8.1.6) Standard Edition or
- Oracle 8i Server Rel 3 (8.1.7) Enterprise Edition
I have Oracle Server Rel 1 (8.1.5) Enterprise Edition. Has anyone tried using Designer 6i Rel 3 with this slightly older version of the server?
