Not able to access Oracle on SCO box with Golden32

[Quoted] when trying to access Oracle on my SCO server with Benthic's Golden32 (which resides on a Windows2000 workstation) I get the following message :
"ORA-12505: TNS:listener could not resolve SID given in connect descriptor"
I am positive that my TNSNAMES.ora file is correct because I copied it from an Windows NT workstation that can access the same SCO server. Also, the Windows2000 workstation is able to access Oracle on other servers with other OS's (e.g. Dynix).
Did I overlook a setting in Golden32? Any help would be appreciated.
