[Quoted] I have installed designer6i on a NT4 client. The rep database is set up on
the the server.
When I try to start the repository administration utility I can not connect
[Quoted] to the rep database. I get the following error
ora-12222 no such protocol adapter.
When I test from sqlnet easy config I can connect to the database; I can
connect via all the usual oracle tools sqlplus; toad etc;
I can switch Oracle homes, but I cannot connect through the rep utility!!
What am I doing wrong??
I have configured the tnsnames file & sqlnet.ora. I dont believe I need to
set up a listener on the client as there is one on the server.
Any help appreciated
