NMS-00001 error with dbsnmp

[Quoted] Oracle 8.1.7, Solaris 7.. I start the intelligent agent with 'lsnrctl dbsnmp_start' .. but the log file says:

NMS-00001: Warning: dbsnmp unable to connect to SNMP master agent

Any clues? I can't get any OEM events to register, etc..
