This is really an Oracle Applications questions, but I hope someone here can help (or point me to an Oracle Applications newsgroup!)
- Is Open Interface the best method to use to interface (for example) a legacy system to an Oracle Applications system?
- It seems like you could call a stored procedure or function directly. Is this discouraged by Oracle or is it a valid option? Should you only use the Oracle-provided procedures, or is it okay to write your own?
- Also, are there any other technologies/methods that might be better?
TIA,
Marcy
