Sorry, correction the 9i implementation talks to mod_jserv and 8.1.7 implementation talks to mod_jserv. Depending on what you want to do you can talk to either mod_ose or mod_jserv. from what I am reading the mod_ose implementation is probably more robust now but perhaps not as flexible as it implements some non portable extension to the J2EE application platform.
