- You can use only the TNS name with the Bequerel protocol (I don't remember the name). The others work only with SQL Net servers (Personal Oracle is not that kind).
- Try to use the default "2:" alias when connecting to database. This is not a real alias, and work only with Personal Oracle. It means "localhost".
