Oracle Reports & Dr. Watson

I the production configuration, I am invoking the Runtime Previewer from an Oracle Forms RUN_PRODUCT call and that works fine. When I try to print using the icon on the
toolbar (from in the Previewer) I sometimes get a message right from Dr. Watson and sometimes I get a message like this:

   Error writing to LPT1 a timeout occured .......

I cant seem to get the error to always work the same way. It is strange.

In my testbed, I am using a different brand of printer and it works fine. Could it be a printer config file for Reports? I am running in Bitmap mode (not character) and I was under the assumption that printer definition files were not required.

Any help would be appreciated.
