ADO and Oracle question.

Does ADO work will all version of Oracle? My boss has an application that uses Oracle for OLE and the only thing that the application is doing is reading system tables. I have to be able to read data from Oracle versions, 7.x to present. The Oracle for OLE is a headache as if a client has a different oracle client or different the program fails.

Does anyone know if ADO will work?
