Hi,
[Quoted] [Quoted] I want to login into an Oracle 7.3 instance on an Solaris Sun Workstation - [Quoted] without Samba - , from a WIN2000 workstation with Oracle 8.0.5 on it. Although I have TCP/IP connect to the machine and the Oracle Login works on [Quoted] the Sun machine itself, when I try it from the win2000 machine not even the [Quoted] tnsping80 is succesfull.
Looks like a NET80 problem. What could I be doing wrong? Is there perhaps a [Quoted] problem with a 8.0.5 client trying to connect on a 7.3 server? What can I do [Quoted] to emulate 7.3 login?
