Which is faster Ado or Oracle classes

[Quoted] I was using ADO but was playing around with the oracle classes (oconnect etc etc) , I'm wondering which is faster.
I'm thinking the classes are because ado is using ODBC and has to go [Quoted] thru all that. I'm not sure how oracle is doing it , probably rpcs in [Quoted] their lib.
