As per a post on the Ask Tom site of Thomas Kyte at www.oramag.com only Designer and Developer 6i and Oracle 8.1.6 are guaranteed to work on Win2K. If you want to run a lower version you'r on your own. The Microsux software is almost never downwards compatible.
