Hi,
I agree: it's a real nag. There was a discussion on Oracle Metalink on this topic. Oracle says: When the text 'Compilation Report' appears, close the window manually. No nice solution, but it speeds things up.
Oracle should get this fixed in the way they do it when generating a Table API. The package creation on the database is done in the background, and the result is normally displayed in the Design Editor Message Window. Shouldn't be too hard for them, right?
