I grant the CONNECT, RESOURCES, DBA role to Scott I follow the instruction on the Oracle Designer and grant other privilieges and repository role to scott too. I use the Designer Utility to check the requirement and it shows Scott has been grant all the privileges required for designer. Then I use the Designer Utility to create the Repository and in the SYSTEM tablespace. In the documentation, Oracle suggest to create many tablespace such as rapid_grow_indexes, rapid_grow_tables, VERSION_TABLES, TEMPORARY_TABLES etc. Do I really need to create all these table spaces and create a new user to use this table spaces and create the reposity in there? Or I can just use an existing user like Scott and create the Repository in the SYSTEM or USER tablespace. Is this related to the error message, "no workarea"? The error code is CR2034 something, I double check with it again.
