SQL*Loader and Surrogate keys

Hi,
I want to use SQL*Loader to load data into one Table,
(e.g. Customers),and have one field a sequence to act as
a surrogate key.
How do I set this key up as a foreign key in another table,
(e.g. Customer Orders) ?
I'd appreciate any advice and I'd also appreciate any recommendations on books or other sources of information.
