Forms 4.5 to 6 Conversion Highlight Problem

This is a problem one of our developers ran into and as I do not code Forms I thought I would ask for a little help:

 I'm experiencing a difference in behavior when executing an Oracle Forms 6.0 form compared to the same form using Oracle Forms 4.5. I took a form and used f60gen, upgrade=yes to update it to Forms 6.0. I'm running this form in character mode, emulating vt220. Here's the problem:

When I enter the 6.0 form, the cursor goes to the first enterable field on the first enterable block, unless otherwise specified using go_field() or go_block(). The first field arrived at is highlighted. When I tab to the next field, the field I was just at previously remains highlighted.

Is there any way to resolve this without modifying the code so that the previous field arrived at is not highlighted.

Sounds like an issue of emulation.

Assistance would be greatly appreciated.
