I've noticed this happen with Forms 5 and 6 (and possibly 4.5 but I didn't pay too much attention to it then). When you compile and save a .fmb and then reopen it again and save it w/o compiling, the .fmb's size decreases quite a bit. If you open it again, compile, and save, it gets much larger again. Seems that compiling does something to it that makes it larger. However, we haven't noticed any adverse effects of doing it either way.
