Hello,

For some reason, our OAS applications just seem to die. When I say "die" - I mean anyone trying to access the web pages just get timed out on their browsers.

Everything is up - cartridge factory, listener, wrb, etc. At least, it's reported as being up via the OAS manager. In fact, the applications are reported to be up as well.

Only thing that seems to cure this is an owsctl stop & start

Any ideas on how to begin troubleshooting would be greatly appreciated. I don't even know what logs to look at, how to interpret them, or even how to turn them on if they have to be first.

Searching metalink only gives me stuff on performance monitoring, so far. I'm still continuing to look.

Our setup:
Oracle 8.1.5 db
Solaris 2.6
OAS 4.0.8.1 (no patches applied)
using LiveHTML & PL/SQL cartridges

TIA,
