Hi,

I am trying to install and configure the IFS on an NT client on which I also have an Oracle database.

The versions are as follows:

iFS 1.0.8.1.0
Oracle 8i, Release 2 EE 8.1.6.0.0
Oracle Net8 Server 8.1.6.0.0
SQL*Plus 8.1.6.0.0
Oracle JDBC Driver 1.1.8.1.6.0.0

[Quoted] The machine has 127MB RAM and 7.5 GB free disk space. I followed all the instructions as regards changing the values in the init.ora for the database.

Using Universal Installer I kick off the install. It automatically calls up the iFS Configuration Assistant in which I make the following settings.

On the Parameters for new IFS schema:
New Schema Name: ifssys
New password: ifssys

On the IFS Service Size: Recommended Settings

iFS Protocol Server : NTFS only

On the iFS email domain screen:

email domain: domain1.ie

Finally when it gets to the actual configuration screen it crashes at the "Creating iFS schema" point giving the follwing error:

oracle.ifs.utils.action
ActionFailedException: java.sql.
SQLException: ORA - 0402
procedure, function, package,
or package body does not exist.

The database is up and running and the error seems to happen when it is in the middle/at the end of creating the iFS schema. Any ideas as to why this happening?
