Installation Problems

I ordered the OTN tracks for:
- Internet Servers for Windows NT

• Internet Development Tools for MS Windows NT
• Business Intelligence Tools

Now i'm trying installing in this order the following products:

Oracle Designer Rel. 6.0 for Windows NT Disc 1 of 2 in ORACLE_HOME=DEFAULT_HOME
Oracle Developer & Server Version 6.0 for Windows NT 4.0 in ORACLE_HOME=DEFAULT_HOME
Oracle Developer Version 6.0 Patch 1 (6.0.5.29.4) for MS Windows NT in ORACLE_HOME=DEFAULT_HOME
Oracle8i Enterprise Edition Release 2 Version 8.1.6 for Microsoft Windows NT/2000 in ORACLE_HOME=Oracle8iHome
Oracle Designer Rel. 6.0 Pre-configured Repository Disc 2 of 2 (Doesn't work, error message tells i need to install a Local Database; although i already have installed Oracle8i)

If this works fine i also would like installing the Business Intelligence Tools.

My questions are:

1. Is the order of installation correct?
2. How can i avoid the Error message i get when trying to install Oracle Designer Rel. 6.0 Pre-configured Repository Disc 2 of 2?
3. In what order do i need to install the Business Intelligence Tools?
4. Is there somewhere a good document available (not tons of paper) how to properly install the mentioned Oracle products?
