Thanks for your reply. We had a contractor (since left) tasked to install context cartridge for research purposes. He tried to install it on a 7.3.4 db on NT and said he had difficulties and contacted ORACLE support. ORACLE support told him context cartridge on 7.3.4 had problems and suggested he install in on a 8.05 db.He was able to install in on an 8.05 NT db. We now have a customer who would like to use it on a 7.3.4 db on UNIX(AIX). They have since agreed to upgrade to 8.06. Was your 7.3.4 context cartridge install on NT or UNIX? Generally we have had more problems with addons (such as transparent gateway) on NT than on UNIX. Thanks,
