Hi everyone,
I'm new to this group. I have ran into a problem over the past couple of weeks at work. We just upgraded our Oracle version from 7.2.2 to 7.3.4 One of the applications that I support uses sqlnk. I am using Solaris 2.5.1 server. The problem that I'm having is that the process that allows users to login to oracle "Tcpserver" is crashing sporaditically through out the day. We use one master server, 2 remote servers and a test server which uses the same process individually on all 4 servers. Sometimes we have over 100 people logged in with no problems and sometimes it crashes with 5 people logged in. I am looking to changing over to ODBC but in the mean time, I am trying to find a solution as to why the tcpserver process is crashing so frequently. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
