We've done the same thing. I had to call Oracle Support to figure out how to deploy forms over the web for Unix clients. Obviously you can't use the JInit plugin. Oracle told me to download Sun's JavaPlugin from their web site. They gave me a static.html file to use when serving forms to Unix clients. But I'm getting the same problems you are. Everything works fine for Windows clients, but the forms crash when running on Unix clients. I'm trying to resolve the issue now but haven't gotten anywhere. Let me know if you get a resolution. Sorry I couldn't provide any help. I just wanted to say that you aren't alone on this one.

Thanks,
Brian
