Just found the sqlplusplus wrapper for sqlplus by Angus Mackay.
It does a nice job at giving you command line history and editing for sql*plus. However, I did notice that it does echoes your password to the screen.
Before I attempt to reinvent the wheel, I am wondering if anyone has done a modification to this code so as not to echo the password ?
