I haven't created a database using dbassist, but I have generated the build scripts using the tool. You may find it faster to generate the scripts and then generate the database. I create databases using modified scripts originally generated by Designer 2000. I takes less than half an hour on a Sun Solaris server with a 333mhz processor.
