Developer Installation Method

Can any one tell me how to install the Developer ver6 into Windows95? I have problem when trying to install Developer, a illegal operation came out! [Quoted] The Oracle 8 client is from installer 3.3.1.0.0C and the Developer installer [Quoted] version is 3.2.2.1.1. Also, I faced this problem if I tried to install the [Quoted] developer on top of client 7.3.3.

Is the problem caused by my installation method? If I remove all the oracle [Quoted] client and install the developer, there is no problem at all. However, the [Quoted] Oracle for Windows95 folder will not have the Easy Config. program. In other words, I cannot config the SQL-client.

Please tell me how to do it properly!!!!!
