I hope this is a little contribute:
I think OAS e 8i use different CORBA libraries, so they can't run on the same machine.
You can run your Oracle Installer, from Oracle for NT program group, to install OAS, using nt.prd from /win43/install/us (I can mistake path so I have not the cd here). In this case you must use custom installation.
OAS is not completely equivalent to IIS, It is not a WEB Server,
it is a middleware to connect a Web Server to Server Program
(Cartridge) to build on fly web pages getting source of them
from db procedure or someother depending on Cartridge installed
(Form Server is a Cartridge)
