Don't edit the global.asa file directly, if you're a newbie. Open the Visual
Interdev Studio, create a new web project from the application located in
the Web Server. When you have the project open, locate the global.asa
object, drop the connection and create a new connection. You could connect
via an
ODBC driver or via the OLE DB Oracle driver. If it connects OK from the
Visual Interdev, it'll be OK from the web server. Theoretically.
I'd recommend to install the Visual Interdev in the same machine of the Web Server, just to test that the connection works. Received on Fri Feb 18 2000 - 13:53:19 CET
