Yes, there'a a foreign key. But the parent and the child queries are not single tables, but they are joins!
If I use query to query data-link, Report fills the parent and child column property of the data link automatically, confirming that a db constraint exists.

I also tried to create a simple data link: 2 fields in the parent table (the parent and the child query with only 1 table, this time!) and 2 [Quoted] fields in the child query. The result is the same.... but, if I use two different tables (not included at all in the previous queries) the problem disappears. May be there's a problem with the data in the tables?
The mistery is continuing...
