Migrating from Access to Oracle

I am using Personal Editon 8i for Windows 95/98. After trying unsucessfully to use the Data Migration Assistant that ships w/ this edition i "tripped" over a feature in 8i Navigator that allows u to import data (*.txt or *.csv) into a table as long as the table structure had been defined correctly. My question is this the most efficient way or is there another way to do migrate data for larger tables? I also want to note that I only had about 1200 records to import. Thanks in advance.
