Oracle 4? How old is that software? I started with Oracle in 1989, the
current version then was 5.1.17/5.1.22.
I know you can import from Oracle 6 to Oracle 7 (Oracle doesn't recommend
going to 8 directly, too many changes), but Oracle 4. Have a feeling you
need to go to 5 first, and so on.
The only other route looks like importing Ascii files generated by Oracle 4.
The predecessor of sqlplus is called UFI, and probably you will also have
rpt/rpf (reportwriter).
