Re: How to install Dev 6.0 with Personal Oracle 8.0.3

They don't co-exist on the same machine! I've been working on this issue 1 year ago, had some contacts with oracle, they couldn't solve it!

REASON for the problem is the common files:

Developer 6 uses the common files of 8.0.5, when you install d6 after your po 8.0.4, the database does not work anymore, if you install po8.0.4 after d6, d6 does not work anymore.

I've even tried to install them in different oracle-homes, but no success. (This was 1 year ago with d6 beta, this may have changed). ANYWAY: the SOLUTION is to install 8.1.5 (downloadable at oracle's now) because they will never release po8.0.5, or to wait until po8.0.6 is out.

Note: The combination 8.1.5 with developer 6 works fine!

I've tried everything, but NO WAY.
