WebDB and database link

Within the NT database I created a public database link pointing to an Oracle 8.0.5-Instance on HP-UX. When building a report from sql query with query SELECT * FROM remote_schema.remote_table_at_dblink_name I'm always running into ORA-03113 error (end of communication channel) during execution of WEBDB.wwv_builder.accept - but both nt-ora8 instance and HP-UX ora8 instance are working and I can connect via SQL*Plus.
The statement works fine in SQL*Plus being connected as user where the webdb_package will (should) be created.
