Hi everybody,

Every time I start the application server (8.0.7.1) (or one of the listeners seperately) I get the following error:

Oracle Application Server 4.0.7.1.0EnterpriseEdition Can not open Service OracleWWWListener40www_website40_OraOAS4 OWS-08811: Unable to startup Oracle Web Listener `www'. OWS-08851: Please check NT Event Log for details.

I can start the listeners by hand (using the services control panel app) and they work fine. Does anybody have any ideas? It used to work perfectly. I fooled aroud with WebDB, maybe that did something (I removed it).

The strange thing is the service name
OracleWWWListener40www_website40_OraOAS4 doesn't show oup in my registry, but OracleWWWListener40www_website40 does (in the following key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services there are services listed: OracleWWWListener40www_website40 and OracleWWWListener40admin_website40 (without the _OraOAS4) can this be the problem?

Anybody any ideas?
