We have developped an Intranet (With Visual Interdev 6 and SQL Server 6.5), but we have to migrate our database from SQL Server 6.5 to Oracle 8. I have 2 questions regarding that :
1- I think I will use the SQL Loader program from ORACLE to import data which will be exported from SQL Server
via a program called BCP. (Is this the better way to do this?)

2- We are currently using ADO with Visual Interdev for the connection to SQL Server 6.5.
To connect to Oracle, what is the better way to do it. (ADO or an other connection method).
I have been told that there are some problems using ADO and an OLEDb provider for Oracle, or ADO and an ODBC
driver for ORACLE.

Can someone have informations about that and help me about these 2 questions.
