With Oracle Reports 3.0 how do I read items from a parameter object?

With Oracle Reports 3.0 how do I read items from a parameter object? This [Quoted] parameter object is passed from Oracle Forms 5.0 and contains multiple entries. How do I read each item when reports runtime is running the report. [Quoted] I presume that I have to put code into the before report trigger and read the passed parameter object. What is the method to read entries in this passed parameter object? Any help would be appreciated. I have looked through several books to no avail. Thanks for your help.
