Insert record problem?

Hi..

        I meet such a message'Unable to extend temp segment by 1500 in tablespace

        MIS1' when inserting records up to 15000...
        what should I do when I create a table? something like
              storage(initial Xk, extent XX k) ???

  what are the meaning the 'Xk' and 'XX k'???  the size of each record is about 20 bytes... what is the suitable size for 'X k'
and 'XXk'?
