Can you pfs_mount it like in HP-UX?

# nohup /usr/sbin/pfs_mountd &
# nohup /usr/sbin/pfsd &
# /usr/sbin/pfs_mount /cdrom (or whatever your cdrom name is in /etc/pfs_fstab

Isn't there an installer option that will actually create the
iso-translated files on disk?
I recall something like that, but have no access to a Unix install CD
now, so I cannot check.
After doing that, you start installer from the disk (wasn't it called a
staging area?)
