Try to deploy EJB from JDeveloper 2.0 to Oracle8i with JServer option. Hangs on deployment or even testing connection via IIOP port. ORCLS000.TRC log file has these errors:
  • SESSION ID:(9.50) 1999.10.25.09.10.24.185 jox_call_java_pres_: caught ORA-04045: errors during recompilation/revalidation of SYS.oracle/aurora/net/Presentation ORA-04031: unable to allocate 4180 bytes of shared memory ("shared pool","unknown object","sga heap","state objects")
  • 1999.10.25.09.10.53.407
  • SESSION ID:(9.52) 1999.10.25.09.10.53.407 jox_call_java_pres_: caught ORA-04045: errors during recompilation/revalidation of SYS.oracle/aurora/net/Presentation ORA-04031: unable to allocate 4180 bytes of shared memory ("shared pool","JAVASNM$","sga heap","state objects") ORA-04031: unable to allocate 4180 bytes of shared memory ("shared pool","unknown object","sga heap","state objects")

I can't use the Database Administration confiuration wizard to unininstall/re-install JServer option. This was a database that I migrated 7.3.2 to 8.5.1 and don't want to have to go through the entire process again.

Any tips?
